Project Background
A third-party project manager representing a large overseas renewable developer needed access to design documents, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) documents, applicable permits, and other pertinent information to evaluate 4 former landfill sites for development as utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) facilities. The third-party project manager knew OMS staff had institutional knowledge and deep history with the landfill sites and realized that OMS staff could facilitate efficient access to available site documentation and records. OMS staff also have deep existing relationships with applicable regulators and site trustees, further facilitating project objectives.
Scope
OMS Consulting Services, LLC (OMS CS) staff facilitated access to site records, design drawings, as-built drawings, regulatory documentation, permits and other pertinent information. OMS staff also facilitated communications with site trustees. Follow-on activities will likely include support of regulatory reviews.
